This project involves the comprehensive renovation of an existing industrial facility originally built in 1979, located at 6215 Swiggett Rd in Greensboro, NC. The scope includes selective demolition, structural modifications, and new architectural and MEP upgrades across multiple functional areas—Business Center, Operations Center, and Warehouses.
The renovation focuses on improving operational efficiency, spatial flow, and workplace comfort through new finishes, reconfigured layouts, and infrastructure modernization. Highlights include new storefront systems, reworked sidewalks, upgraded locker rooms and restrooms, new interior finishes throughout, and an expanded office layout to accommodate field service and coordination spaces.
The exterior scope features new metal panels, canopies, and an electrical fleet charging area with coordinated 20-amp circuits, reinforcing the client’s commitment to modern, energy-efficient operations. The interior design emphasizes functionality and brand identity through durable materials, natural light integration, and signature yellow accent elements that connect the industrial aesthetic with CAT’s corporate image.
